Jami Lashbrook
My name is Jami. I’m a writer living in London. It’s not where I was born or where I grew up, but it is the first place I’ve ever felt comfortable calling home.
To be completely honest, I am not comfortable talking about myself. While I could probably write an amazing cover letter for you, I struggle to talk myself up, so please bear with me.
What do I write?
Although most of my life I’ve fancied myself a creative writer, I actually ended up getting a BSc in Technical Communications (Technical Writing) and a MA in Marketing Management. Thanks to these degrees, I not only got my chance to become a published and paid writer, but it made it possible for me to move to London to work and live.
To pay the bills I write marketing content. There is a very fancy title that goes along with it, but in essence, I spend most of my working days writing B2B marketing content for marketing technology companies. I hope to be able to share some of my professional writing at some point, so watch this space.
On the personal side (writing-wise), I have had a blog for more than a decade. Check it out here. It’s been a bit neglected, but I hope to add to it more regularly.
